I Already Gave Myself Permission

Let me tell you something I had to learn the hard way:

Waiting for somebody else to validate you will have you stuck forever.

We spend so much time holding our breath—waiting for someone to say,

“Yeah, go ahead,” or “Now’s your time.”

But truth is, that time don’t come unless you create it.

The day I decided to say yes to my calling, I gave myself everything I was waiting for. I didn’t need a cosign. I didn’t need applause. I just needed to trust the fire I already had inside me.

Because here’s the truth about that:

If you felt that pull, if you saw that vision, if your gut keeps reminding you that you’re meant for more—that wasn’t random. That was your spirit already speaking facts.

You don’t need permission to shine. You are the permission.

People might not get it. They might doubt you, ignore you, even throw shade. Let ‘em. They don’t see what you see because it wasn’t given to them—it was given to you.

Stop waiting.

Stop shrinking.

Stop asking for clearance to be who you already are.
