Day 2 of October.

Yesterday, we talked about fighting through seasons. Today, let’s talk about resetting your game plan—because sometimes, all you really need is a fresh approach and the courage to believe something new about yourself.

Game Plan for Day 2:

1. Take Inventory, Not Just Notes

Most people move through life reacting, not reflecting. If you want change, you gotta stop and look at what’s really on your plate.

  • What’s taking up your energy?

  • What’s on your mind before bed and as soon as you wake up?

  • Are those things building you up, or breaking you down?

Write it out, don’t just think it. There’s power in seeing it on paper.

2. Make One Bold Adjustment

Pick one thing that’s been weighing you down or holding you back—then switch it up today.

  • Change your routine.

  • Change your environment (even if it’s just where you sit).

  • Speak different words over yourself.

  • Block out 10 minutes for silence and gratitude.

Small adjustments, done consistently, rewrite your future.

3. Influence Positive Thinking

It’s not about lying to yourself or acting like you don’t feel pain. Positive thinking is refusing to give up on hope, even when the evidence ain’t all the way in your favor.

  • Start your day with a word that uplifts you.

  • When the negative thoughts hit, ask yourself: Who does this voice belong to? Is this the truth, or just an old echo?

  • Replace every “I can’t” with “I’m learning how to.”

  • Speak blessings out loud, even when your situation looks dry.

God’s Word for the Day:

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” — Romans 12:2

You can’t control every storm, but you can control what takes root in your mind. Renew your mind, and you’ll see new doors open—sometimes right where you thought you were stuck.

Final Word For the People:

You don’t have to wait for a new month, a new year, or some big sign to start moving different.

Sometimes the reset button is as close as a pen, a prayer, or just a hard look in the mirror.

Today, give yourself permission to believe new things are possible. God didn’t bring you this far just to watch you stand still.

Change your mind, and watch how your life follows.
